BJP kicks off its Digital Marketing Campaigns

This being election year there are going to be big spends from poltical parties on advertising and it seems that digital media will also get its share.It seems that Obama's successful use of Digital media has inspired our Indian politicos too with BJP  using digital media to promote the website of L K Advani which marks a first for the internet. BJP is promoting with search ads like the one seen on the right which shows up for keywords like BJP,Advani etc .The  problem is that the campaign could have been so much better the ad copy is not engaging , the website though well designed is just intended to be informational in nature and doesn't involve or engage the user with the only exception being the forums section just compare it obama's social and digital initiatives and you will realize the gap. Nevertheless this marks an interesting beginning for digital media.
