More iPhone reviews Complaints start coming in

So the much hyped iphone is not so great after all complaints have started coming in now as the novelty has started to wear off in fact demand is also not as was expected with not all store experiencing sell outs. Mathew Miller of Zdnet in his review has his lists of complaints about the how apple has missed the phone part in iphone.

• Low volume speakerphone (basically useless at max volume through mono speaker)
• Mid volume speaker
• Tough to speed dial (at least 5 presses/slides to call one of your )
• No smart dial (filtering of contacts as you enter letters or numbers)
• Reception issues (full signal to no signal in same area)
• No instant messaging application
• Non-removable battery that cost $86 to replace from Apple
• Weak Bluetooth radio (profiles and reception with headset)
• No DUN (Bluetooth or cabled)
• No custom ringtones
• No MMS functionality
• EDGE only data even though AT&T has a national 3G network

However he like the others is still impressed by the exceptional user interface and feels that it is an outstanding video ipod but would like to wait for Apple to improve the phone before buying.
Gizmodo in its iphone review lists ten things to know before buying in which it adds to the list

• Not all iPod Accessories and headphones will work with the iPhone:
• Not for business use: BlackBerry enthusiasts need not apply.
• It's not a full iPod Replacement, and it has no games: With 4GB or 8GB of storage, this is essentially an iPod nano
• It's not a smartphone: As much as Apple wants you to think their "open application development" using webapps is actual apps, it's not.
• The data connection is slow: If you're on EDGE, expect emails with large attachments and Web pages to download slowly
• There's no GPS: The iPhone may have a Google Maps application with turn by turn driving directions, but there's no actual GPS in there.

So is it that Apple has gone ahead and created a great looking device which forgot to do the basic stuff.
