India's Blogging scene

Wat blog has come out with an Interesting report on India's Blogging Scene .Most Interesting aspect of this Report is that survey was done through Orkut and they managed to reach out to staggering 3,08,960 users (Wondering How come they didn't came to me)Key highlights were

• That in top rung cities (Delhi,Bangalore etc) 2.7% users had blogs but surprisingly in second tier cities (Indore,Lucknow etc) 1.4% users had blogs.
• Blogger is no 1 site for blogging in India.
• There are 30% people in India who had no idea what blogging is all about
• 34% people in India only check their emails
• 14% people in India are active bloggers
• 19% people in India read tech Blogs
• 21% people used Stumble ,Digg etc and didn't looked for anything specific.

Interesting they changed their sample and last few points came out of a much reduced number of 1300 people
