During the ill fated world cup campaign Reebok India had also launched a cricket based website which turned out to be disaster thanks to performance of Indian team. Now the success of Twenty 20 has meant that Reebok India have tried to make yet another effort to target their sports loving Target group online they have just launched a jazzy flash based website www.rbkcricket.in for the cricket lovers in India. This represents how an increasing number of marketeers are targeting the online youth segment of the market.Reebok claims"The site is also representative of innovation in digital and how digital as a medium is used creatively and effectively by Reebok to reach out to their TG."
Here is a snapshot of the website interestingly it also allows people to buy fan gear( from Indiatimes) , read articles and download some sexy photos of Reebok endorsers ranging from Rahul Dravid, MS Dhoni, Irfan Pathan and others. This is an extension of Reebok's international campaign " I am what I am " however limitation is that these jazzy flash based websites take a lot of time to load and can only be best viewed by broadband viewers comfortably.
