Google Inspires Frozen Slush in Mumbai

Seriously this inspired by Google thing is getting too much First the Google Saree than the google chrome Ad and now Gogola. This image was seen at a stall, set up outside a shopping centre in what in Bandra which is one of Mumbai’s more upscale areas . The guys behind this have found a cheeky way to reach out to internet-using middle class shoppers. Another aspect of this scheme is supplying “the world’s cleanest Gola” made of mineral water. Gola by the way is crushed ice with flavoured syrup on top and was part of many people's childhood but is usually a cheap item sold by street peddlers and not targeted at the upscale shoppers. All this points out to me the growing popualrity of internet and the rise of Google fanboys in India's metro cities especially mumbai.( More here and here )
