Despite all the Web2.0 hype Jobs, Travel and Matrimony are the only internet companies in India who have been successful and now its Real Estate industry which is next target of these Indian Internet majors. The jobs market which shifted majorly from print to online has inspired these companies and the intent is to do the same to real estate market and if the jobs market was 500-600 crore the real estate market is even bigger with an estimated up to 900-1000 crores being spent in print. However there are problems ranging from the fact that the real estate industry and the people in it are not very Internet savvy and as professional as the people in jobs market to get them to migrate to online is more difficult and loads of competition Magicbricks, 99acres, Makaan.com and Indiaproperty.com all are fighting for this pie. Almost all of them are advertising all over the internet so how to differentaiate and Makaan.com which is held by People's group already behind the successful Shaadi.com has decide to do so by getting on to IPL bandwagon and creating an animated Ad which is different and at least catches attention so will definitely create brand awareness but I am not sure whether it will portray that what is the purpose of using Makaan.com Enjoy the ad

use the mouse to find a house is a brilliant concept. Even 99acres.com's ad is interesting. Catchy.
interesting point that you make akshay that it is trying to make people aware of internet as a medium but the point I am making is that ad doesn't really show what Makaan.com is capable of
